Mission Statement
The overall goal of the North Dakota NASA EPSCoR Program is to increase the competitiveness of North Dakota for merit-based grants and contracts in support of science and technology research from federal funding agencies.

Funded through federal-state-private sector partnerships, the North Dakota NASA EPSCoR Program manages a comprehensive research development plan that involves the following:
- Infrastructure Improvement Programs
- Science Outreach and Recruitment Programs
- Technology Transfer and Commercialization Programs
- Tribal Colleges Programs
The North Dakota NASA EPSCoR Program's federal research partners include the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), the National Science Foundation (NSF), and the National Institutes of Health (NIH). The North Dakota NASA EPSCoR Program also coordinates the state's EPSCoR activities with the Department of Defense, the Department of Energy, and the Department of Agriculture.
